Lakers try out Jeremy Lamb and some Free Agents

With 13 players under contract for the 2022-2023 season, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking for the last pieces that will complete their roster. The arrival of Dennis Schroeder is a big step forward in this direction. At the same time, the franchise also organized workouts with a few free agents to perfect its recruitment.

Thus, the Lakers would have tested in particular Shabazz Muhammad et Jeremy Lamb, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Dwayne Bacon, I’m Today, Armoni Brooks, Sharife Cooper et Mychal Mulder would also have been tested by the 2020 champions.

Bacon, for example, spent the 2021-2022 season with Monaco, in the French championship, failing to find a contract in the NBA. Perhaps the most interesting name of the lot is that of Jeremy Lamb, coming off a tough year between the Pacers and Kings. The 30-year-old swingman is averaging 7.3 points in 16.7 minutes this season.

For this year, the Lakers already have many players on the back lines. However, for a contender, no reinforcement is too much in the race for the title. Especially in a franchise that is used to surprising us in its rotations, bringing out unexpected players.

However, HoopsHype’s information should be taken with a grain of salt. Michael Scotto had also mentioned Isaiah Thomas in the list of players who had done a workout in LA, who immediately denied it.
