Who is Gastón Marano, the lawyer of the detainee Gabriel Carrizo? | Advisor to a JxC senator in the Intelligence Bicameral and with ties to the United States Embassy

Gastón Marano is the lawyer representing Gabriel Carrizo, the last of those arrested in the case investigating the attempted murder of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. The lawyer not only has ties to the US embassy but also worked with leaders of Javier Milei’s La Libertada Avanza party and until this Friday he was an advisor to the national senator of Together for Change, Ignacio Torres in the Bicameral Intelligence. Yesterday followingnoon, the Cambion senator sent a note to the parliamentary commission announcing Marano’s dismissal.

The decision of the macrista senator generates relief within the Intelligence Bicameral, chaired by FdT deputy Lepoldo Moreau. And is not for less, Marano had the authorization of Senator Torres to access the reports produced by the strategic commission. For instance, there was the request for the lawyer to access the 2021 intelligence report where all the information on the illegal espionage carried out by the Mauricio Macri government was found.

Marano has a studio that he shares with the lawyer Brenda Salva, who knew how to carry out journalistic tasks in media such as The Nation + y TV Chronicle. The lawyer worked with legislator Ramiro Marra, which belongs to La Libertad Avanza. Marano is active on social networks with comments contrary to Kirchnerism, the vice president and there are even posts where he expressed his opposition to ex-Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman being given a visa when he needed to travel to receive medical treatment.

While, Salva appears as advisor to the block of deputies of the PRO. She can be seen with deputy Cristian Ritondo and party president Patricia Bullrich.
