The Vigil of the Princes is a tradition for members of the British Royal family to stand around the coffin of the king or queen for several minutes. This ceremony was last performed during the Queen Mother’s funeral in 2002.
During the ceremony, Princess Anne, dressed in military uniform, stood with her brothers Prince Edward, Prince Andrew and King Charles III at St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.

Princess Anne even won the individual European championship in 1971 and was also a member of the British team as the winner.
