Al-Manar Sports website » Zidane is a candidate to lead Juventus instead of Allegri

Italian press reports indicated that the former Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, who has not been linked to any team since his departure from the Royal Club in the summer of 2021, is a strong candidate to succeed Massimiliano Allegri, coach of Juventus.

And the Italian “Calciomercato” website revealed that Zidane’s name was put on the table during the last hours of Juventus’ training in the post-Allegri stage, which is no longer unanimous. However, the financial aspect of the process might make things worse.

Recent press reports indicated that Zidane is waiting to succeed his former colleague Didier Deschamps, coach of the French national team, following the end of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but if he has already received an offer from Juventus, he may not hesitate to accept the task due to his close relationship with the Italian club.

According to the Italian press, Zidane will have another option than the Premier League in terms of his future. In the final hours, the 1998 world champion was nominated to coach Juventus, a club he knows well because he played there between 1996 and 2001.

The Italian website stated that Zidane’s return to the old lady’s club is financially complicated, as the salary of the former coach of Real Madrid is very high compared to the budget of Juventus.
