MotoGP FT3: standings
All completed five to six laps. Bezzecchi leads the classification with 1:47.955 minutes. Di Giannantonio, Aleix Espargaro, Miller and Quartararo line up behind them. Of these, only Bezzecchi and Di Giannantonio have improved on yesterday.
In the overall classification, they occupy places 14 and 17. This shows that there is still room for improvement in terms of speed. We won’t see real time tracking until later.
MotoGP FT3: Marquez-Save
Is that old Marquez? It looks like it, as by Turn 17 the Spaniard is pretty much on the ground but is able to start a fall with his left arm and knee. That should go down in the long list of his legendary saves.
MotoGP FT3: Rear tires in focus
Martin was the fastest yesterday with a time of 1:47.402 minutes. In the early phase of this session, we are of course still significantly higher. Many are on the road with a used rear tire to check its durability. Yesterday, umpteen drivers complained regarding the high level of wear and tear in Aragon.
MotoGP FT3: detail work
It continues with the third free practice of the MotoGP. When it comes to tires, most opt for the medium compound, front and rear. Yamaha continues to do comparison tests, because Quartararo and Morbidelli each have a bike with the old and the new chassis available.
At Marquez, the Honda was converted back to the Crabon swing arm. However, his two bikes are set up completely differently. Here one is still looking for the best compromise for the returnee.

Moto3 FT3: Result
Moto3 FT3: Öncü with best time
With a slipstream, Öncü manages to get past Guevara in the last slipstream. With a new best time of 1:57.265 minutes, he takes 0.347 seconds off him and tops the session. In the end, Holgado moved up to third place behind Guevara. Sasaki and Artigas round out the top 5.
Foggia, Moreira, McPhee, Masia and Garcia fill the second half of the top 10. The final four riders to make it straight into Q2 are Fernandez, Suzuki, Ortola and Nepa. Toba fails following a late fall in 15th.
Moto3 FT3: New Chaser
Öncü is able to reduce the gap to Guevara to 0.232 seconds and is in second place. He drives the lap all alone without a slipstream. All drivers have one last try.
Moto3 FT3: First 1:57 times
Guevara pushes the best time once more enormously. With 1:57.612 minutes, he is a whopping 0.425 seconds faster than Sasaki in second place, who just cracked the 1:58 as first. Foggia is third, followed by Moreira and Masia.
For your orientation: The course record is 1:57.066 minutes, set by Jorge Martin in 2018.
Moto3 FT3: Time hunt begins
The last ten minutes of this training have started and the pace picks up once more. Moreira set a new overall best time of 1:58.492 minutes. More and more drivers are now breaking into the 1:58 times. That should give a close exchange of blows in the final phase.
Moto3 FT3: Toba ups the ante
Toba slipstreamed from Ortola and took the lead with a time of 1:58.623 minutes. In the overall classification, he is second behind Friday’s fastest Foggia.

Many drivers make a pit stop. The order in this session is: Sasaki, Guevara, Holgado, Suzuki, Tatay, Foggia, Nepa, Moreira, McPhee, Munoz.

Everyone did five laps. Guevara leads the standings with a time of 1:59.329 minutes. Tatay, Sasaki, Nepa and Moreira round out the top 5. Öncü’s time was canceled once more because of yellow flags for Surra’s downfall.
Meanwhile, Yamanaka, another driver, went down at Turn 7. Öncü also comes off the track, but remains seated.
Moto3 FT3: First 1:59 time
Öncü is the first to break the two-minute mark in this session. But we are still a long way from yesterday’s times. Of course it’s cooler than yesterday followingnoon. It remains to be seen how quickly it will be.
