A new season is starting at the Florida with a program faithful to the habits of this Agen venue: qualitative, eclectic and original.
No less than twenty dates by the end of the year are offered by Florida. After a complicated health crisis, spectators, volunteers and teams will be able to find their usual rhythm to dance, sing, create, innovate, explore, work and hack! A program that also goes through “drinking”, laughing and meeting.
For the director, Florent Bénéteau, it’s time for a reunion! “We are back at full speed. The bar, which is a driving force, will help us to recreate social ties, to find each other, to find our public and them their Florida! We will accelerate the movement by multiplying, for example, followingworks, workshops…”. Partnerships are also resuming, such as those with the rapper collective AG1 or the National Association of BeatBox.
The musical program will be pop, metal, reggae, electro, hip-hop with also more experimental proposals.
Big Flo and Oli at the end of October
We will find the long-awaited “Grand Défi”, a moment of exchange and sharing par excellence. “It’s an important meeting”, explains the director of the place before continuing: “There are regarding forty artists who will be divided by lot into 10 teams of 4 musicians. The theme this year is “esotericism & celebration fairground”. Each team has two months to give birth to a joint creation which will be presented during a major evening event in December”.
There are also some exceptional dates to discover, including the arrival of Big Flo and Oli. The famous band from Lot-et-Ronne will stop in Florida at the end of October. The crowded box office took barely 10 minutes to sell all the available tickets. “The success is there and we really like BigFlo and Oli. This is their fourth visit here”, specifies David Bailly, the communication manager.
