Is the third cesarean delivery dangerous?

Abu Saree confirmed that the effect of the third caesarean section on the mother depends on the extent of her commitment to periodic follow-up with the doctor and following a healthy lifestyle throughout the pregnancy.

According to the “Parents” website, a third cesarean delivery may cause a range of complications for the mother, including:

1- Problems with the placenta

A third C-section may increase your risk of developing problems with the placenta that may lead to premature birth, such as placenta accreta and placenta previa.

2- Bleeding

The lack of contraction of the uterine muscle following repeated cesarean deliveries exposes the mother during pregnancy to severe bleeding, which may require surgery to control it.

3- Detachment of the uterine muscle

Repeated C-sections can cause the uterine muscle to separate, due to the formation of scar tissue where the doctor makes an incision in the uterine wall, which is usually weaker than the surrounding muscles.
