Epic Games Store: Spirit of the North and The Captain free this week, a survival game with dinos and a tactical RPG offered next

Once once more, you have 2 free games to collect on theEpic Games Store, until Thursday, September 22. These are as expected Spirit of the North et The Captain which are offered, one offering an adventure with a fox in Iceland, the other a retro escapade in space.

Summaries and download links are available below.

Spirit of the North

Spirit of the North is a third-person single-player adventure game inspired by the breathtaking and mysterious landscapes of Iceland. The story takes root in various parts of Norse folklore.

The game is unique in that it deliberately has no dialogue or narrative. Players must draw inspiration from their surroundings to solve various puzzles and hypothesize the meaning of an ancient lost civilization.

Play as an ordinary red fox whose story is tied to the guardian of the northern lights, a female fox spirit. As you progress over mountains and under red skies, you will get to know your companion and the ruined lands.

The Captain

You play as Captain Thomas Welmu, a space fleet scientist lost on the other side of the galaxy. Dark forces are on their way to Earth to destroy our planet, and you have the only thing that can stop them.

Quickly traverse the galaxy. Make new friends along the way…and enemies. You won’t be able to save everyone. Who will you leave behind? Which civilizations will you save (or destroy) on your journey? All of these decisions are up to you.

After all, you are…the captain!

Next week, Epic Games will prompt us to unlock ARK: Survival Evolved (already offered in 2020) and Gloomhaventhe Tactical-RPG with accents of dungeon crawler who arrives on theEGS several months following its release on Steam.
