No one can doubt that Babar Azam is the current best player in Pakistan cricket. Babar is the batting leader of the team. He has won a place in the hearts of fans with his lively shot selection and the beauty of his shot.

Former Pakistan pace bowling legend Shoaib Akhtar has come out criticizing Babar’s poor performance. He says that Babar is more focused on playing attractive shots than hitting runs.
Akhtar also questioned Babar’s right to lead in the T20. His argument is that he is not fit to lead Pakistan in Twenty20.
“I don’t think Babar is the right captain for this format. He was trying to rediscover his form by playing classic drives. He just wants to look classy. What method is this?,’ asked Akhtar.
Akhtar is also talking regarding the Pakistan team for the Twenty20 World Cup. He asked that there is no depth in the batting and what he intends to show in Australia with this team.
“There is no depth in the batting department and I don’t understand the reasoning behind selecting such players for a major tournament in Australia.
If Pakistan’s batting form emerges in Australia, Babar and Saqlain will be dismissed. Even the chairman of the cricket board, Rameez Raja, is not expected to be spared,’ added Akhtar.
