The US space agency, NASA, has released a video of the planet Mars, showing the landscape in amazing and exciting detail.
The video, captured by NASA’s Perseverance spacecraft, reveals 2.5 billion pixel snapshots of Mars.
In February 2021, the Perseverance spacecraft landed on the surface of the Red Planet.
Digital Trends said the video represented “the most detailed view of the distant planet ever filmed.”
The video consists of 1,118 individual images, which have been grouped and improved in resolution and color, with the aim of discovering details better and easier.
NASA said that creating such a video “makes it easier for its science team to interpret the landscape very accurately.”
The image shows the scene from the “Delta”, the ancient Martian river, which 3.5 billion years ago was teeming with water.
The material will be collected from the area and brought back to Earth by another mission, so that scientists can study it using advanced analytical tools.
