Although boudoir sex can enhance the relationship between couples or husbands and wives, if you don’t have a good measure and measure, you may have unnecessary accidents, and even lose your life and make your family suffer. Pan Xiao (all pseudonyms below), a 24-year-old man from Hangzhou, mainland China, went to a hotel with his girlfriend to open a room. Less than an hour later, he suddenly collapsed in the toilet and died following being sent to the hospital. In this regard, the family of the deceased believed that the hotel was responsible and demanded compensation of RMB 600,000 (approximately NT$ 2.68 million).
According to Lu media reports, Pan Xiao was a sales representative of a pharmaceutical company in Hangzhou. One day he and his girlfriend went to the hotel to check in; less than an hour later, the woman rushed downstairs for help, saying that Pan Xiao was not breathing. After receiving help at the hotel counter, he dialed 120 immediately, but Pan Nan was declared dead following being rescued. Afterwards, the family of the deceased insisted on seeking compensation of 600,000 yuan, on the grounds that Pan Xiao died in the hotel, and the owner should bear the relevant responsibilities.
In this regard, the executive vice president of the hotel restored the story, “At 5 o’clock in the followingnoon on the day of the incident, a heterosexual couple came to the hotel to open a room, and the front desk registered the identity information of the two according to relevant regulations. At six o’clock, a woman came to the front desk to seek Help. When my boyfriend was taking a bath, she fell to the ground. Our staff called 120 for the first time. Because we are in the service industry and do not know the knowledge of medical assistance. When we saw customers like that, the staff did not Dare to move. Not long following the ambulance arrived at the hospital, he died.”
On the other hand, the police also went to the hotel to obtain surveillance and confirmed that the incident had nothing to do with the business owner. The girlfriend of the deceased said, “An hour following the two of us entered the hotel, he said he was going to take a shower, and then he fell into the bathroom. Seeing him motionless, I panicked and didn’t know what to do. I immediately went to the first floor of the hotel. The lobby turned to their staff for help. They helped dial 120 and took them to the hospital.”
Although the police and the parties have proved the hotel’s innocence, the family of the deceased is reluctant to give up and insists on passing the responsibility to the owner, believing that the hotel’s response was too slow at that time, and if Pan Xiao was rescued in time, this kind of thing would not have happened. In desperation, the hotel had to agree to give humanitarian compensation of 40,000 yuan (regarding NT$178,000), and the two sides finally reached a consensus.
