Virgin Izakia, the trendy and elegant Japanese restaurant and bar on Bluewaters Island, has unveiled a range of personalized dining experiences that create an exceptional atmosphere and cater to each and every one of its guests throughout the month of September.
In conjunction with Dubai celebrating the last moments of summer, the famous restaurant offers a wonderful selection of delicious Japanese dishes and flavours, along with a bouquet of exclusive events such as “Nomikai Time”, “Goshi Kai”, “Saturday Brunch” and “Duck Soap” As well as a culinary arts session.
Nomikai Time is the happy hour event held by Virgin Izakaya restaurant between Monday and Friday, starting from September 12th. In Japan, drinks parties that are part of the local culture of most businesses and destinations are called nomikai, and are often held in restaurants or traditional izakaya bars. In Dubai, the immersive Virgin Isakaya restaurant will offer special prices on drinks and selected items from the menu.

Ladies of the restaurant can have fun while sipping on exclusive cocktails and delicious Japanese dishes every Wednesday with “Joshi-Kai”, a Japanese-themed ladies’ night offer that offers women five vouchers (tokens) for a special price of AED 150 . Ladies can then choose five items from the joshi kai menu, which includes a selection of beverages and specialties from the restaurant.

Fish filleting is a form of culinary art in Japan. Therefore, Virgin Izakaya will be organizing an event dedicated to teaching the art of cutting fish on September 22nd. This event will enable guests to learn how to cut different types of fish, including blue or yellowfin tuna, marlin and many more, on Thursday, September 22
The Duck Soup event offers guests a wonderful opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful nightclub experiences in Dubai, in an amazing atmosphere, with the rhythm of “house” music and “minimal techno”, with the participation of a group of the most prominent local musicians, DJs and distinguished talents from all over the UAE and the region.
