Actually, director Ulrich Seidl should have received the Douglas Sirk Prize at the Hamburg Film Festival, which starts at the end of September. However, following the allegations of violations of children’s rights during the shooting of Seidl’s latest film “Sparta”, the festival is refraining from doing so.
