A man in Zulia state was arrested for allegedly beating his stepdaughter to death.
This was announced by Douglas Rico on his social networks. He pointed out that the arrested man was a 34-year-old man in the El Venado sector, Concepción parish, La Cañada de Urdaneta municipality, in Zulia state.
The little girl was only one year and four months old. It all happened when her mother arrived at her house and saw her convulsing, so she took her to a Comprehensive Diagnostic Center, but she died.
Upon investigation, it was learned that she died “due to hypovolemic shock, internal hemorrhage, heart detachment and closed chest trauma; In addition, she had multiple blows to her body”.
According to Rico, the man, the stepfather, was in charge of taking care of the infant, while his mother took her youngest son, eight days old, to a health center, during which time the man, blinded by anger since the girl, allegedly had defecated on him, savagely attacked her, causing serious injuries and thus, her death.
It was sent to the order of the 33rd Prosecutor of the Public Ministry of Zulia state.
