As the new monarch, the affairs of Charles and the Queen Consort Camilla are moved to Buckingham Palace. Now her employees at Clarence House are trembling for their jobs.

With the appointment as the new British monarch, not only was King Charles III’s area of responsibility greater. His official office now also has a new address. Although the 73-year-old and his wife, King Consort Camilla, will remain in their long-term residence at Clarence House – at least for the time being – the affairs of the king and the 74-year-old are shifting to Buckingham Palace.
And it is precisely this circumstance that makes some of the employees tremble, around 100 employees might be affected by the move. For example, the couple’s private secretaries, communications and finance team, and housekeepers, who are said to have been notified of the forthcoming changes by letter on Monday, September 12, as the “Guardian» reported. However, Charles and Camilla’s staff are said to have been warned in advance that this might happen.
Financial concessions
«The change in the tasks of our managers also means a change for us. The work we did to support the former Prince of Wales is no longer needed and Clarence House will close,” Charles’s top adviser, Clive Alderton, reportedly wrote in a letter to staff. “I can imagine that this news is shocking and I want to assure you that you have my fullest support.”
According to the British newspaper, the dismissed employees will receive financial compensation and help to find a new job.
