Aussies preparing for Indian tour face heavy blow; Three key players will miss the series

Melbourne: Australia, which is preparing for the series once morest India before the T20 World Cup, suffered a heavy blow. Three key players will miss the Indian tour due to injuries. Mitchell Sattark, Mitch Marsh and Marcus Stoinis have been given time to fully recover from injuries. Earlier, David Warner was also rested.

Starc has a knee injury. Marsh has not fully recovered from an ankle injury. Stoinis is also injured. With this, all three were excluded. The trio were replaced by Nathan Ellis, Daniel Sams and Sean Abbott.

The injuries of all three are minor. But all the three matches once morest India will be played in three cities. The players were kept out of the team thinking that travel and other things would be difficult. Cricket Australia also does not want to add to the injury with the T20 World Cup around the corner.

The first T20 once morest India will be played in Mohali on 20th of this month. The second match will be played in Nagpur on 23rd. 3rd T20 in Hyderabad on 25th.

Indian team: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel, Jaspri Bumrah, Deepak Chahar.
