A family of seven, including five children, in Longueuil had the unpleasant surprise of seeing the water rise on the floor of their home on Tuesday.
At the height of the torrential rains, nearly 30 centimeters of water were found in all the rooms of the apartment on Tiffin Road, near Taschereau Boulevard.
The mother of the family told TVA Nouvelles that she did not know where she was going to sleep on Tuesday evening.
