What you should break the habit on the stepper at home

However, there is one habit that can really spoil your workout on the stepper at home. And that is: Staring at the clock all the time. The problem with this: If you constantly calculate how much time you have already spent on your fitness machine, the pointer of the clock will move all the more slowly.

Speaking from personal experience, the cross trainer I was struggling on had a built in display that showed time, calories burned and measure your heart rate. I stared at the display obsessively, only to realize that the effort I was putting in was, in my opinion no relation to the amount of calories burned was standing. That was just frustrating!

Why does time pass so slowly when exercising?

But why does it seem to us that time sometimes, e.g. E.g. during sports, pass more slowly?
