I wrote King Abdullah Medical City, Saudi Arabiawhich is taken from Mecca Headquartered, on her account, on her website "Twitter": "A brain death case in #King_Abdullah_Medical_City saves 5 critical cases".

She explained that the rescued cases were:

  • Heart transplant for a 10-year-old girl.
  • Right kidney transplant for a 14-year-old girl.
  • Left kidney transplantation in a 38-year-old patient.
  • Liver transplantation for a 60-year-old woman.
  • Lung transplantation for a 20-year-old girl.

And there was a video attached to the tweet, in which Dr. Abdel Wahab Noah, a consultant organ transplant anesthesiologist at King Abdullah Medical City, spoke.

Noah said: "A case of organ transplantation was completed from a brain-dead donor".

The doctor added that the operations were carried out following diagnosing the person’s condition, which showed his brain death, and taking the approval of his family, noting that his organs were obtained in coordination with the Saudi Center for Transplantation.

He said that organs were taken from the patient to cases that were described as hopeless, and they were transplanted into their bodies, which led to saving their lives.
