The Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Lima Center filed the complaint filed once morest the head of the Ministerial Cabinet, Hannibal Torresfor alleged infringement of electoral neutrality, within the framework of the 2022 regional and municipal elections.
through the Resolution No. 010381-2022-JEE-LICN/JNEsaid collegiate declared there was no merit to determine infraction once morest the prime minister and urged him not to issue personal opinions in public acts.
Likewise, the Central Lima JEE urged all public servants and officials to respect the principle of neutrality that must govern in all electoral process.
“Notify the interested parties, and file this file in accordance with the provisions of the last paragraph of numeral 34.3 of article 34 of the Regulation on Electoral Propaganda, State archyde news and Neutrality during the electoral period”concludes the resolution.
As recalled, the Central Lima JEE received a complaint once morest the prime minister for allegedly violating electoral neutrality due to his statements regarding the leaked audio starring the leader of the Alliance for Progress (APP), Cesar Acunaand the censored president of Congress, Lady Camones.

“We are going to adopt the actions, regarding the conduct of César Acuña, any citizen can challenge his candidacy in the Electoral Jury of Trujillo, the violation of the Electoral Law is so flagrant that it must be resolved quickly”stated Hannibal Torres to the press.
“My request is that the democratic congressmen resolve this problem that has been created in the Board of Directors, which, in our opinion, should step aside and the Electoral Jury of Trujillo should separate the candidate Acuña”he added.
