DUBAI, 13th September / WAM / The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance has concluded the Accredited Arbitrator Program, which included several training courses and workshops for the award categories, which included the categories of “Distinguished Student, Distinguished Teacher, and Distinguished School” in addition to the Distinguished Education category.
The workshops were held successively from August 29 to September 13 this year.
The workshops were prepared and presented by experts and academics. The training package contained the referee’s guide and a test form that included a case study and preparation of feedback.
The participants in each of the training courses of the program were granted certificates and the license of the accredited arbitrator following evaluating their performance and passing the evaluation.
The training program, which was held at the Foundation’s headquarters in Dubai, witnessed the participation of 44 trainees over a period of 15 days and aimed at training the central arbitrators on the evaluation mechanism and arbitration processes of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation’s standards for outstanding educational performance for the 25th session of its annual award.. The program also comes within the Foundation’s endeavors to: Unifying arbitration concepts between arbitrators and providing them with the necessary skills.
Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Secretary-General of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Educational Performance, explained that this program comes within the framework of the Foundation’s endeavor to achieve its strategic objectives in order to make the twenty-fifth session of its award a success by developing arbitration methods and achieving the highest levels of integrity and accuracy in arbitration. For all participants in all awards, in a way that contributes to their development, which ultimately leads to the achievement of the foundation’s main goals of excellence, raising the quality of education, and supporting and nurturing talented and innovative people to keep pace with the rapid development in all academic and educational fields.
The participants said that the training courses contributed to developing their abilities, acquiring arbitration skills, familiarity with new standards and mechanisms, passing evaluation, and obtaining certificates and the license of the accredited arbitrator.
