Books – Mustafa Mahmza:
Director Mohamed Diab, “author of Al Jazeera”, revealed the fact that the film’s hero, artist Ahmed El-Sakka, intervened in deleting the role of artist Bassem Samra, and excluding him from participating in the second part of the work.
Diab, in response to the statements made by the artist Bassem Samra, during his appearance on the “One of the People” program, regarding the role of the artist Ahmed El-Sakka, in his removal from work, and on his Facebook page, he wrote: “The talented Bassem Al-Samra stated that the star Ahmed El-Sakka is the one behind his death in the movie Al-Jazeera and his exclusion from the second part.
And he continued, “As the author of the Al Jazeera movie, my testimony is that Ahmed Al-Sakka did not interfere with a letter in the script. The director of the film, Professor Sherif Arafa, does not have stars who impose their opinion, and do not even interfere in the work.”
Diab added, “The character (Hassan) who played in the name of Al-Samra is inspired by a real character who died in fact, and this is the reason why I chose to die the character, in which I agree with Bassem that he is a genius actor and deserves more than the stardom and success he is in.”
The artist Bassem Samra, during his dialogue on the “One of the People” program, said: “A large number of my films ended with my death, and the movie (Al Jazeera) succeeded very well, and the scene of my murder while I was driving, and if I was present in the second part, I would worry regarding them and they would sit in The house and I am splitting from Ahmed El-Sakka.
He explained: “In the beginning, no one knew that there was a second part of the Al-Jazeera movie, but I had an experience in another movie with Ahmed Al-Sakka, which is the movie (Ibrahim Al-Abyad), and following I presented some scenes and finished presenting my role and took a great effort from me, it was deleted, and my non-participation in The work, and I think the reason was Ahmed El-Sakka, and when I asked him, he said: “I am the money, I am the director, and I asked Marwan Hamed, the director, the graphic did not appear as required because it was a difficult and complex scene in the midst of the stifling and I jumped from the seventh floor.”
