Revealed in the 15th season of Love is in the meadow on M6, Mathieu and Alexandre, whose meeting and romance had given rise to the program’s first gay marriage, have decided to divorce. The couple separated “by mutual agreement”, announced Mathieu in an interview with Jordan de Luxe for Entertainment TV.
“We have lived two extraordinary years”

He also announces that he will organize a live on the social network this Tuesday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss his separation “once and only once” with Mathieu.
Iconic couple of Love is in the meadow
Matthieu had decided to participate in the M6 dating program following discovering that he suffered from Cadasil, a rare hereditary genetic disease whose carriers have an average life expectancy of 62 years.
He had met Alexandre during the fifteenth season of Love is in the meadow and fell in love almost immediately. Viewers had followed the meeting between the two men.
They were then united at the town hall of Sernhac, in the Gard, in June 2021. The two men then began the process of becoming dads through a surrogacy procedure (GPA).
