French Montana confided in various subjects during a recent podcast. He admits to having been touched by the disappearance of Mac Miller and that would have impacted his career.

The rapper wants to save lives

“Mac Miller’s death touched me because I’m in this space and I consider these artists my brothers and my family. And when we lose one, it’s like losing an important part of us” he said.

The rapper from Brooklyn who has also gone through moments of addiction in his life explains that he would like to help a lot of people get out of it. « We want to help people to stay alive as much as possible, where they are comfortable” he says during the interview.

Furthermore, the legendary rapper suggests that get over this addiction is one of his best accomplishments. “And I think that was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, to pick myself up. It was like one of my greatest accomplishments ». As for Mac Miller, his life and death will live on through his music, his family and his peers.
