Riyadh: Iraqi babies who are conjoined twins have come to Saudi Arabia for surgery. The babies came to Saudi Arabia with their parents for a check-up ahead of the separation surgery. With the mercy of the Saudi ruler King Salman, the surgical procedures are arranged free of charge.
Iraqi Siamese twins Omar and Ali arrived in Riyadh today with their parents. The visit comes ahead of undergoing a separation surgery arranged at the mercy of the Saudi king. Both of them, who have been admitted to the Riyadh King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital, will undergo tests. A team of doctors and surgeons will be trained to perform the surgery. The surgery has already been successfully completed in many similar cases. The King Salman Relief Center will bear the cost of the surgery.
