In a rare astronomical phenomenon that the Kingdom and the Arab world are witnessing, this evening, Sunday, the decreasing humpback moon is associated with Jupiter, the giant of our solar system, most of the night.
And the Jeddah astronomer explained, through her official account on the Twitter site, that it will separate the waning humpback moon and the giant planet Jupiter regarding one degree in a beautiful view easily seen with the naked eye.
The moon is associated with the star Aldebaran
On the other hand, the Jeddah Astronomical Society announced last July that the moon had been paired with the star Aldebaran in the sky of the Arab world, where we decorated the eastern horizon.
The Jeddah astronomer said in a statement issued by her that the Pleiades star cluster (the seven sisters) can be found, as it is not far from the moon and Aldebaran, and it appears as a foggy smudge, noting that due to the illumination of cities that obliterate the dim natural lights in the sky, there is a need to use binoculars to see This cluster.
