Game news Ubi Forward: Day One, indie games… Ubisoft’s Xbox Game Pass goes to the next level

To warm us up before the Ubisoft Forward, the studio concocted a pre-show for us that still included several announcements, including very good news regarding Ubisoft +, which came up once more later.
Ubisoft close to indies
During the Ubisoft Forward pre-show, the studio wanted to put a few independent games in the spotlight. It is in particular the case of Second Stone and Two Falls, two games overseen by Ubisoft and highlighted thanks to the Indie Highlights section. The first is an adventure game straight from the cold regions of Finland. This is indeed where the Skyward Entertainment studio has set up, offering us an RPG with 3D platformer mechanics quite pleasant to watch. No more information at the moment.
As for Two Falls, it is a game mixing survival, adventure and storytelling. This time, it’s happening in Montreal, where Unreliable Narrators has shaped this narrative experience anchored in a very specific context. You are immersed in 17th century Canada through the story of two characters: Maikan, a member of the Innu people, and Jeanne, a Frenchwoman in search of a new life. Planned for fall 2023 on PC, the game can already be added to your wishlist on Steam. But that’s not all ! Ubisoft invites us to discover these games and many others in its Ubisoft+
Ubisoft+, le Xbox Game Pass d’Ubisoft
Do you know Ubisoft+? Like Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus, this subscription offers you free access to a large catalog, for a financial consideration of course. For €19.99 per month, you can have PC access to more than 100 Ubisoft games (Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, etc.) but not only. As the pre-show reminded us, many independent games are also available, such as Lake, Evan’s Remains or even Astrologaster. Note that a Multi Access version (PC and mobile) exists for €22.99 per month.
Better still, Ubisoft+ is moving up a gear and offering to discover many games “for free” as soon as they are released. This will be particularly the case for Skull and Bonesavailable Day One with the Ubisoft subscription, i.e. November 8. More good news: you can already subscribe to the service and take advantage of a free month until October 10th.
