Game news Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: a free DLC to conclude the story of Eivor and Odin

On the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of the license, Assassin’s Creed offered its very first dedicated showcase. The opportunity to return to Mirage and Infinity but also to new content to come for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, a game that lasts over time
Ubisoft promised us content galore for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and the French giant did not lie to us. The adventures of Eivor have had the right to tons of small additions, whether free DLCs, four paid extensions or new modes. Gareth Glover (in charge of post-launch content) and his team have not been idle and have allowed Eivor to offer us many hours of play. Almost two years following its release, Valhalla continues to provide new reasons for players to re-immerse themselves in the skin of a Viking (or a god). Despite the time spent, there are still many of them having a good time on this game with its particularly generous roadmap.
Latest novelty? The astonishing roguelite mode The Forgotten Saga released last August and allowing to bring a new way of playing. In addition to the small additions here and there, we also had the right, earlier in the year, to DLC Dawn of Ragnarök. The latter also immersed us in the skin of Odin in order to explore the famous myth of Ragnarök. It must be said that the character of Eivor has a special connection with the father of all things. A link that should be at the heart of the new experience that Ubisoft will offer us by the end of the year: The Last Chapter (the last chapter in French).
The Last Chapter, l’ultime extension
During the Assassin’s Creed Showcase, Gareth Glover came to briefly introduce us The Last Chapter. Scheduled for this year, this extension will offer, as its name suggests, a form of conclusion to the adventures of Eivor. The latter will be particularly linked to the memories of Odin, but not only. The exploits of our Viking will also resurface, for better or for worse. DThe key characters from his previous quests will thus be making a comeback. for a final goodbye before Eivor leaves for other lands.
In the way of the quest A written meeting, this new narrative will be available for free through an update. All players with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will therefore be able to discover it without paying an extra penny. However, that’s regarding all we know at the moment. No information regarding the duration of this quest has been given for example. No release date either, but we are told of a release in “some months”. We will of course be on the lookout to tell you more regarding Eivor’s final journey as soon as possible.
