Plastic Odyssey Expedition: “Twenty tons of plastic waste are dumped every minute at sea”

In a first life, Simon Bernard was an officer in the merchant navy. This is following traveling the oceans and seeing how big they were soiled with plastic waste that this 30-year-old has taken on a crazy gamble: forming a global network to fight once morest this pollution by targeting 30 countries that are particularly affected by the phenomenon. On October 1, the founder of the NGO Plastic Odyssey will board a former oceanographic vessel for a three-year journey with sorting and recycling experts by his side who will act as ambassadors to local populations.
