Simple soy sauce, with a hint of lemon and garlic, is the perfect savory-sweet compliment to rich salmon fillets. Read on to learn regarding this unique recipe.
1 pound salmon fillets
Lemon pepper, to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Salt, to taste
½ cup soy sauce
Half a cup of brown sugar
Half a cup of water
Half a cup of vegetable oil
Season the salmon fillet with pepper, lemon, garlic powder and salt.
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until the sugar dissolves. Place the fish in a large resealable plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture, seal, and turn to coat. Chill for at least two hours.
Heat the grill to a medium temperature.
Place the salmon on the preheated grill and discard the marinade. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side. Or even fish crack easily with a fork.
