Two Dutch drivers will start the Italian Grand Prix this Sunday: Nyck de Vries will make his F1 debut!
Nyck de Vries will compete in the Italian Grand Prix, the last European event of the season, this Sunday in the temple of speed in Monza.
The Dutch driver will replace Alex Albon, who had to withdraw for the rest of the weekend. The Thai suffered an attack of appendicitis and had to leave the Monza circuit this Saturday morning on the sidelines of the third free practice session.
“Williams Racing can confirm that following feeling unwell this morning and seeking medical advice from the FIA and local hospital, Alex Albon is currently undergoing treatment for appendicitis” Williams said in a statement.
