Researchers at the University of British Columbia have succeeded in creating an orally ingested insulin tablet that travels to the liver. At the microphone of Patrick Lagacé, columnist Martin Carli explains why this feat might bring real benefit in the treatment of diabetes.

The researcher explains that if the new pill reaches the liver, the objective is that it does not pass through the stomach.
