“Farewell Day” .. “Apple” gives up 5 iPhone phones and officially stops their support starting from this date

Al-Marsad newspaper: Apple revealed the launch of the latest version of the new “iOS 16” operating system on September 12, noting that it will come with features that enhance the smart capabilities of iPhone phones that will rise to a new position following the update.

Unfortunately, Apple decided this year to abandon support for 5 iPhone phones: iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6s Plus, in addition to the first generation of the iPhone SE.

This means that owners of these phones will not “complete the new path of updates”, in a step that aims first to push them to upgrade their phones to a newer version of this phone, experts say.

As for the phones that will receive the operating system update, they are: the new phone, of course, the iPhone 14 and the versions released with it on Wednesday, the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The list also includes: “iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone SE (2nd generation and later).
