Extension required. The monitoring and evaluation committee of the work of the judicial system approved the request of these judges, in charge of corruption cases. The mandate of the judges of the Anti-corruption Pole (PAC) will be extended by three years. “A request approved, following some time, so the work will follow its normal course for the next three years,” said Solofohery Razafindrakoto, the chief prosecutor of the PAC, in a telephone call yesterday.
This decision was taken following the appointment of the new national coordinator of the PAC, Rivonandrianina Rabarijohn, during the last Council of Ministers. 23 judges make up this new judicial system. 18 clerks will provide their assistance for the reception of all complaints on corruption at the headquarters of the PAC, at 67ha.
A shortened mandate. The term of office of these judges in this judicial system is reduced to three years, if it was four years before. This new law was put in place to approve the request of the deputies in the National Assembly.
