Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon expressed his condolences on the passing of British Queen Elizabeth II on the 9th and announced that the flag would be raised at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office.

“Recently, British Ambassador to Korea Colin Crooks visited the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office in person to have a chat, and discussed strengthening the cooperative relationship between Gyeonggi-do and the UK in areas such as digital transformation, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation,” he added.
Governor Kim said, “Gyeonggi-do will raise the flag today and send a condolence message to the British Embassy in Korea to convey deep condolences and condolences to the citizens of Gyeonggi-do.”
