Beirut – “Al-Quds Al-Arabi”: The death of the Lebanese artist, George Al-Rassi, in a horrific traffic accident, is still at the forefront of social networking sites, the latest of which is the leaking of an audio recording attributed to him before he traveled to Syria to revive his artistic concert.
What is very striking in this recording is Al-Rassi’s fear, as stated in the audio recording, of driving his car to Syria before being insured, and his speech was directed to one of the officials in the insurance company, where he insisted that his car must be insured in Syria in the event of a traffic accident, He said, “I don’t want to go to Syria without insurance for my car. I want to be safe, so I flipped the car.”
Followers stopped at this paragraph and feared that his car would overturn, and this is exactly what happened to him, as if he was sensing death before it happened, especially following he went to the official by saying, “God forbid, if I had an accident in Lebanon, am I safe?”
