The members of the Lions club planted, on September 3, 1150 rubber seedlings on the sites of the Patte d’Oie forest and the Chaminade high school in Brazzaville.

The activity called “Operation reforestation” is part of the environmental axis of the international Lions club. The objective is to contribute to the protection of the environment. The said operation mobilized around a hundred members of the said foundation.

It should be noted that this tree planting operation, which was held in Congo in the presence of the current 1st vice-governor of district 403 B1 and future governor of the same district, Yves Ickonga, took place simultaneously in several other countries of Africa: Cameroon, Gabon, Guinea, Central African Republic, Angola and Chad.
