The Association of Clubs meets tomorrow to choose a new board of directors

The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association will meet tomorrow, Thursday, to choose a new board of directors.

The League Council consists of 5 candidates for clubs, who are elected from the Premier League teams, and two candidates selected by the Football Association by appointment.

Al-Ahly club nominated Imad Miteb, the current vice president of the association, for the same position in the new council, and Zamalek club chose Khaled Refaat to be on the association’s council.

Ahmed Diab, the current president of the Association of Clubs, received the support of 12 clubs to continue in his position, while the clubs of Tala’a El-Jaish, Interior and Border Guards nominated Ihab Shaaban, while Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi club chose Sherif Saleh to be on the council, while the Football Association chooses two names to be in the League’s council.

The League will decide with its new council and the Egyptian Football Association during the days of the draw for the new season, which begins on October 16, following nearly a month and a half of rest that the clubs obtained following the end of the last season at the end of last August.
