The new iPhone Lock Screen and notification system will be available to everyone this week!
Presented last June, Apple’s new operating systems first benefited from beta developers before being available in public beta. watchOS 9, iOS 16 and tvOS 16 are just waiting for the big international deployment and, according to information gleaned from the Apple site following the keynote, it might come sooner than we think.
It will therefore be September 9, this Friday, that the three operating systems will be deployed to the general public, in their final version, devoid of all bugs and other problems. Before that, Apple deployed the Release Candidate this evening. This is the final beta before the official deployment of the OS. For their part, macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16 do not yet have a release, but we can assume that Apple will tell us more regarding this during the fall keynote.
How to install the new update
On iPhone, the installation process mightn’t be simpler. Check first of all that you have correctly backed up your smartphone, then go to the Settingstab General et Software update. The iPhone will then search for available updates and offer it to you or not.
For the Apple Watch, head into the app Watch iPhone tab General then Software update.
Finally, on Apple TV, the procedure is identical to that of the iPhone. Application Settingstab System et Software update. The iPhone will then search for available updates and offer it to you or not.
