Dewi Lestari open voice regarding the departure of her husband, Reza Gunawan. The woman who is familiar with Dee’s nickname has firmly explained the chronology of the death of her husband.
Dee explained that Reza had his first hemorrhagic stroke on July 28, 2022.
“The incident happened on July 28, it did happen, but there have been health issues that Reza has had for a long time. But it was triggered because of July 28,” explained Dewi Lestari at the Grand Heaven Funeral Home, North Jakarta, Wednesday (7/9).

After the hemorrhagic stroke, Reza began to be treated intensively in the hospital for 19 days.
“So, indeed Reza was hospitalized for 1 month and 1 week due to a bleeding stroke, he has been treated quite intensively in the ICU for 19 days,” said Dewi.
“After that, Reza was hospitalized, and finally Reza was able to return home. Well, my intention at that time was to carry out home care for Reza as long and as much as possible. However, it turned out that Reza was only with us for four days,” he continued.

Dewi explained that Reza’s condition worsened on Tuesday (6/9). Signs of Reza’s departure began to appear when his consciousness began to decline since around 10.30 WIB.
“At that time Reza started to drop his vital signs around 10.30 am, and finally at 11.30 he breathed his last,” said Dewi.
Reza’s departure was then confirmed by a doctor through a medical check regarding 20 minutes following it was suspected that he had died.
“Because indeed I had called an ambulance too, so the ambulance was also on its way. So regarding twenty minutes following Reza died, the ambulance came, the doctor examined Reza just to confirm that Reza had died,” said Dewi.
“There was some kind of EKG test and stuff, but that was just confirming it. It was around 11.30 WIB,” he concluded.
Reza Gunawan’s two children were devastated by his father’s passing. However, Dewi made sure that she and her two children would try to be sincere regarding Reza’s departure.
