With bulletproof vests and long weapons, a group of men entered the El Samán hotel in the Mariño municipality of Aragua state early Tuesday morning.
A total of 14 subjects appeared outside the building, located in the Turmero area, and asked to access the rooms.
Upon entering, criminals stole guest belongings. They then seized several vehicles and fled the scene.
Journalist Delmiro De Barrio explained that the police went to the site and spoke with the receptionist, who recounted the events and referred to the damage to the occupants of the hotel.
After the event, two people were injured, although the magnitude or seriousness of the injuries was not clarified.
Among the stolen vehicles, a Mitsubishi brand truck was specified, and two others whose brand was not specified.

The receptionist told the police that the subjects entered the hotel demanding that the doors of the hotel be opened for them.
