Abu Dhabi: In the UAE, school buses have been instructed to wait for students in front of their homes for up to one minute. The UAE Public School Administration has issued new guidelines regarding school bus services. School bus drivers, parents and students must follow the new guidelines.
Schoolbags should be left outside the gate so that the bus driver knows that children are coming to school. The bus has to wait in front of their house for up to one minute for the children to arrive. Children must always wear seat belts inside the vehicle.
Children should not stand or walk on a moving bus. Do not make unnecessary noise inside the bus. Maintain cleanliness. Obey the bus driver. However, there is no need to talk to the driver.
Don’t put your hands and head out. If the bus is damaged, the child will be banned from one day to three days. Parents will be responsible for damages. Those who come directly to the school and pick up the children must inform the bus supervisor.
When the child is dropped off from the bus in front of the house, the responsible person should come to receive it. Parents should not board the bus under any circumstances. The directive also says that if there is a complaint once morest the driver or the supervisor, the school authorities should be contacted.
