ABU DHABI, 6th September / WAM/ Mubadala Healthcare and its partners received 60 high school students as part of the summer training program for high school students, which aimed to develop future competencies in the health care field in the country and introduce them to the various medical professions and specializations available through the Mubadala Healthcare Network.
The program was launched at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in 2016 and has been expanded to include other partners within the Mubadala Healthcare Network, following its success and overwhelming response from students and educational institutions.
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, one of Mubadala’s healthcare facilities, launched this year’s edition of the summer program, with the participation of 60 male and female students from various educational institutions in Abu Dhabi.
The modern multi-specialty hospital was the first facility to receive the students, where they received comprehensive introductory sessions with an exclusive opportunity to accompany the health care cadres during their daily medical and non-medical tasks in various parts of the hospital to learn regarding the various aspects of the work of medical professions.
After undergoing this experience at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the students traveled through many facilities of the Mubadala Healthcare Network, where they were introduced to various specialties and healthcare institutions, which increased their interest in various professional opportunities in the healthcare field. At the end of the program, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi hosted a ceremony Graduate to give students certificates of participation in the program.
