Direct – Last day of the Belgian transfer window: Pavlovic leaves Standard, Genk bets on a young American, Chadli back?

The Belgian incoming transfer window will end this Tuesday evening at the stroke of midnight, six days following the closure of transfers in the main foreign championships such as England, France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

The Belgian clubs therefore still have a few hours to finalize the last arrivals of this summer transfer window. However, they will still be able to sell players to clubs whose championships still allow transfers. For example, the Turkish and Russian transfer windows will end on September 8 while Greece allows arrivals until September 15.

Fairly few movements are expected in D1A by Tuesday evening. Despite everything, the press reported a return to Belgium of Naser Chadli. Belgian international on 66 occasions, the 33-year-old winger, under contract with the Stambouliotes of Basaksehir until June 2023, is expected with the promoted Westerlo. Standard also had to formalize an arrival, that of the Anglo-American right-back Marlon Fossey from Fulham where he was trained.
