French professional football Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) introduces a rotation system. Due to his busy schedule, he plans to take turns waiting on the bench for the fear triangle consisting of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe.

According to ESPN, a sports media outlet on the night of the 5th (Korean time), PSG manager Christoph Galtier emphasized that Messi, Neymar and Mbappe should accept their roles on the bench. The three players are the team’s ace, so it’s taken for granted to start if it’s not an injury. However, Galtier will adjust the players’ playing time to improve the team’s performance.

Galtier’s mercenary skills are different from his predecessor Mauricio Pochettino’s. Pochettino rarely used rotations, so Messi, Neymar and Mbappe started mostly. However, manager Galtier excluded Neymar from the start in the French Ligue 1 away game once morest Nantes on the 4th, and in the 18th minute of the second half, Mbappe was removed and Neymar was added. It’s an early replacement for Mbappe.

Coach Galtier said, “We talked twice (regarding the appointment). Once for individual players and once for the entire squad. He said how he was going to operate and what attitude he had to take.” He said, “It feels new, but because of our busy schedule, (rest) is everyone’s duty,” he said. “We play a lot of games. There is a match every 3 or 4 days, followed by the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (November). Players have to understand that they can’t play in every game.”
