We recall that under the hood of this mini-console which takes up the design of the Mega Drive 2 (released in 1993), there is a selection of 60 games, including machine classics like Soleil, Out Run, Fatal Fury 2, Golden Ax 2, Streets of Rage 3… But also Mega-CD games like the infamous Night Trap and its completely retro FMV, and some unreleased ones, like new ports of Space Harrier II and Fantasy Zone, but also never released games, like an MD version of Star Mobile, only released on PC Engine.
The console will also be accompanied by a 6-button Mega Drive controller, and will be compatible with the controllers of the first Mega Drive Mini of the name. A machine that had completely convinced us at the time, both in the realization of the “toy” and in the selection of games offered. We are not the only ones to have been conquered, since the stocks of consoles have quickly emptied, and it is now very very difficult to find one at a reasonable price… Something to keep in mind if the €110 claimed never seemed exaggerated to you.
