Diplomatic sources revealed to “The Seventh Day”, that Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, a member of Egypt’s mission to the United Nations in New York, has been chosen as an official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, to succeed Ambassador Bassam Rady, the current official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, as of the first of next January.
Counselor Ahmed Fahmy was previously working and before his transfer to New York as a member of the office of the presidential spokesperson, Ambassador Bassam Rady.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi approved the diplomatic movement for the current year, which included the appointment of Ambassador Bassam Rady, ambassador extraordinary to the Government of Italy.
