Samsung promises its phone users “professional” photography with these big updates

Samsung promises to offer a distinctive set of professional imaging technologies to its smartphone users with updates to be sent soon, providing full control over images and the ability to understand and improve content with artificial intelligence.

Samsung had already released an interesting update to its Expert RAW application for professional photography from smartphones, and by asking the company to improve the quality of the default photography application in its phones, it promised big updates soon.

This response came from an official at the official Samsung Smartphone Forum, on the topic of announcing new updates to the free Expert RAW application provided by the company.

The updates are two small features in Expert RAW but they have really sparked interest because of the benefit they offer. The app allows users to save their favorite camera settings as a preset to be called up at any time. The app also introduces the ability to shoot images in raw or JPEG format, which will significantly reduce the need for space. Store every time it needs the first mode of saving.

The application already provides a professional photography experience with the phone’s camera, as it controls advanced elements such as ISO, shutter speed, manual focus, saturation, sharpness and other tools used by professionals to achieve the best possible quality from the sensor, and save it as a raw file in full quality without losing any details.

The official in the Samsung forum did not reveal any details regarding the upcoming update of the default camera application in the company’s smartphones, but he promised that the application will be able to provide an interesting experience with full control and improve the quality of images professionally through new technologies that rely partly on artificial intelligence.

The official stated that there is no information regarding the features of professional photography in Samsung phones at the present time, while he confirmed that it will be published and announcing how to use and benefit from the features in a timely manner before the updates are launched.

Expectations indicate the arrival of major software updates to the Samsung One UI interface for users as of next October, which will start from the flagship phones while it will continue until the first weeks in the next 2023 and before the launch of the Galaxy S23 flagship.
