This Sunday, around 5 p.m., while the Boraine police ride was in full swing, one of the police officers supervising the procession hit a motorist on the Chaussée de l’Espérance.
According to our confreres in the Province, “in his maneuver, the motorist cut off the policeman’s road. The motorcyclist touched the car and left to hit the railing”.
The policeman, suffering in the leg as a result of the accident, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road was blocked while the injured were rescued and the vehicles cleared.
