Pointing to the economic and tourist growth of Bolívar state, Governor Ángel Marcano announced the prompt reactivation of the Venetur Hotel in Ciudad Guayana.

This hotel icon will open its doors on September 27, to celebrate the International Tourism Day, in which both the natural and gastronomic potential will be exhibited, to present the I International Fair of Delicacies, to “elevate the palate of those who attend to this important reopening”, reported the government in a press release.

The governor, accompanied by the first lady, Yajaira Arocha de Marcano, and the head of tourism in the region, Patricia Cabrera, emphasized financial development that will help project stability, both in the region and the country.

“We must teach the world that Venezuela is a country that can live perfectly off of tourism, Guayana is not only mining or basic industry, there is also industry without a chimney, which generates natural wealth,” Marcano asserted.

He stressed that thanks to the unrestricted correlation, which is maintained with the national government, the state of Bolívar shows its rebirth every day in different areas.

For his part, one of the representatives of the private sector and the Las Mareas group, Rafael Rivero, explained that for the enjoyment of the International Gastronomic Fair, the Hotel Venetur will open its doors in the areas of the Lobby Bar, main restaurant, bar, swimming pool and social areas.

He reported on the work being carried out in Parque Canaima. “The hotel continues to project tourism strongly, we have been receiving more than 200 tourists every week, showing the beauties that characterize the state of Bolívar,” he said.

He mentioned a new technological structure, which is aligned with the ecological theme. “It is important to mention that the hotel is going to be reborn with a new structure, with a new technological potential, ecologically sustainable and where we are going to include the Pemona community of Canaima”, Rivero informed.
